    ...leadership for whole-community transformation

About Academy

This new collaborative reflects years of the boots-on-the-ground experience of  Campus for Communities of the Future and their knowledgeable national and global networks. This work has demonstrated that traditional silo-based policy, funding, and skills are rarely conducive for complex, interlinked challenges. Instead, they realized greater capacity and support for multisector collaboration and informed decision-making was needed. Additionally, they learned that complex issues and opportunities were more likely to be innovative and transformative when neutral, skilled sector-connectors were in place to mobilize collaboration among citizens, business, government, and social profits. Brenda Herchmer and her team bring a wealth of practice-based learnings, tools, resources, and data management strategies as well as a rich and practical understanding of a process and program reflecting the solutions and accountability required for a better and more sustainable future for all.

What our customers say

As local communities and regions attempt to respond to an increasingly fast-paced and complex society, pockets of transformational changes have only recently begun to emerge. From a global perspective, this is one of a very few initiatives that, in my opinion, is well on the way to understanding how to design and implement the new concept of Comprehensive Community Transformation. The transferable frameworks, tools, training, and resources are some of the most innovative and important I have seen.
